Role: Senior Accountant

Location: Northeast (remote)

Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000

They’re currently looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to support their internal finance operations as the company continues to scale. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Staff Accountant with renewable energy experience who’s ready to step into a more senior role. Candidates with exposure to inverted lease structures and tax equity transactions will be especially well-positioned to thrive in this role.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within the renewable energy industry
Exposure to inverted lease structures and tax equity financing preferred
Proficiency in GAAP accounting and month-end close processes
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements and investor reporting
Support audits and tax compliance in coordination with external accounting firms
Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and strong Excel modeling skills
Ability to interpret and apply complex financial structures and partnership agreements
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
