About the Company: A rapidly expanding energy solutions firm is seeking high-performing professionals to join its team as Senior Commercial Energy Consultants. About the Role: This is a hybrid compensation role offering both a competitive base salary and uncapped commission. The successful candidate will focus on acquiring and managing large commercial and industrial energy accounts, with a primary emphasis on electricity and natural gas services. Additional experience in renewables is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow a portfolio of mid-to-large-scale commercial clients

  • Build long-term relationships focused on retention and customer satisfaction

  • Identify client-specific energy priorities, including budget, risk management, and sustainability

  • Provide consultative sales guidance and propose tailored supply solutions

  • Manage pricing, contracts, and CRM entries with precision and compliance

  • Maintain consistent communication with leadership on pipeline progress and metrics

  • Act as a trusted advisor and liaison for clients throughout the lifecycle of the engagement

  • Represent the company professionally across various platforms and events

Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial energy sales with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets

  • The ability to develop business through outbound efforts, referrals, and strategic networking

  • Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce or equivalent)

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to integrity and customer success

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A team-focused approach while maintaining autonomy in day-to-day work

  • A valid driver’s license and ability to meet clients onsite as needed

Preferred Skills:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

  • Industry certifications in energy or renewables are beneficial

  • Existing client portfolio in power and/or gas procurement strongly preferred

Pay range and compensation package: Compensation is performance-driven, with no cap on commission, and access to nearly 30 energy suppliers nationwide.
