⚡What You’ll Do
Design & Engineer
C&I + DG solar systems (200 kW – 10 MW), from initial layouts to final electrical schematics.
Create system layouts in
AutoCAD, run energy models in
PVsyst / Helioscope, and ensure all designs are optimized for performance & cost.
Collaborate with distributors and suppliers to source the best tech & equipment—your input will directly shape project success.
Partner with project managers and occasionally visit sites to ensure your designs translate smoothly to the field.
Work with a lean, collaborative team that values your ideas.
🚀What Makes You a Perfect Fit
Top 3 must-have technical skills:
Electrical solar system design experience:
confident creating layouts & single-lines in
AutoCAD, running
PVsyst
or
Helioscope
simulations.
Communication & vendor savvy:
able to talk shop with distributors and keep projects on track.
Project exposure:
You’ve seen systems come alive in the field, understand the practical constraints, and can engineer around them.
Plus:
✅ ~2-3+ years of hands-on experience designing C&I solar systems.
✅ Comfortable with NEC codes, best practices for wire sizing, inverter selection, and optimizing system performance.
✅ Licensed PE? NABCEP? That’s icing on the cake—but not a deal breaker.
🌍Location & Travel
Ideally, hybrid in Denver, CO or Overland Park, KS—you’ll build relationships face-to-face and be in the mix.
Open to
fully remote
for the right pro who can hit the ground running.
Minimal travel—maybe an occasional office visit to sync up or celebrate a big milestone.
