🔥 What You’ll Do

Drive real-time market operations
as part of a 24/7/365 Market Operations Center, taking direct action to optimize asset performance and manage risk.
Support day-ahead traders by executing strategies for unit offers, fuel optimization, and dynamic re-offers across PJM and NE markets.
Coordinate with plant operators, ISOs, and internal trading desks
to oversee unit start-ups, shutdowns, outage schedules, and all key operational updates.
Quickly assess market conditions, taking decisive action to capture opportunities or mitigate risks in compliance with ISO and NERC protocols.
Maintain a thorough understanding of ISO tariffs, fuel cost policies, dispatch procedures, and evolving market rules.
Monitor market data, analyze trends, and provide insights to shape real-time and forward-looking strategies.

🏆 What Sets You Up for Success

A
Bachelor’s degree
or higher in Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Strong technical and analytical chops, with
proficiency in Microsoft Excel
(bonus points for VBA).
A working knowledge of power or gas markets is highly valuable — or a passion to learn it fast.
Ability to pass the
PJM Generator Operator Certification
(we’ll support you through it).
A self-starter mentality with sharp decision-making skills and the confidence to act under pressure.
Excellent communicator who thrives in collaborative, fast-moving environments.
Flexible and ready to embrace a
12-hour rotating shift schedule
— because energy never sleeps.
Must be able to pass a background check and financial credit review.
