About the Role:

We are seeking a multifaceted professional to serve as a Dual-Hat Engineering and Operations Lead, combining hands-on technical expertise with operational and strategic responsibilities. This role offers the opportunity to manage renewable energy projects, lead on-site teams, improve processes, and support company growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering and operations for renewable energy projects, including battery energy storage systems (BESS).

  • Serve as the licensed electrical lead (Master Electrician or PE, Utah preferred) for permitting and project stamping.

  • Manage on-site staff, project schedules, and permitting processes across active installations.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and operational effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and company growth opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in renewable energy projects, including BESS.

  • Licensed Master Electrician or PE in Utah (multi-state licensing a plus).

  • Strong project and operations management experience: staff coordination, scheduling, permitting knowledge, and process improvement.

  • Strategic mindset with ability to wear multiple hats and drive results beyond engineering tasks.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Compensation:

  • $90,000 – $150,000 depending on experience and capabilities.

  • Equity or ownership options available for senior/strategic candidates.
